Renovation of a master room in the second floor, located in a family house, a castle type, built in the 18th century, converted into a hostel, to approach an economic growth. Located in Romanswiller, at 30 kilometers from the commune of Strasbourg, the castle is nestled in a beautiful panorama of greenery and constructive richness.
The house has almost intact his own furniture, carpentry, floor, and accessories. These elements enhance the actual concept in order to approach the XVIII design ideas.
The use of wooden and metallic furniture, the natural lighting, and the use of wallpapers enhance this spirit. The use of wallpapers is one of the main parts of the design spirit of the epoch, in which wallpapers were part of a decoration trend for high standards families. All these details improve the value of the art & craft in present times. It stands out in the renovation proposal, as well as the classical elements with a contemporary view.
Total area – 38.5sqm.
